JOB PROGRAM: Community Housing & Youth Transitions Programs (Bannock Youth Center), Residential, Youth & Emergency Services (RYES) Division
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in a human service related area or equivalent relevant experience. 2 years direct service experience including one year experience with provision of employment and/or educational assistance. Computer proficiency in Windows environment and comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and databases. Must have own transportation with valid driver’s license, up to date registration and auto insurance. Experience in volunteer coordination preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Youth Services Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operation of the Bannock Youth Center and coordinates the youth resource and development components. Establishes a network of viable education institutions and employers. Develops collaborative relationships with agencies in the Denver metro community. Responsible for creating and implementing a variety of projects and activities for the participants in the Transitional Housing programs to facilitate independent living goals in conjunction with the services team.
SALARY: $15.71 per hour
HOURS: Tues, Wed, Fri 8:00a/8:30a-4:30p/5:00p
Thursday 8:00a/8:30a – 8:30p/9:00p
Saturday 10:00a-2:00p (Off days – Sunday & Monday)
