JOB PROGRAM: Back Home (Support Services for Veteran’s Families – SSVF) – Denver, Veteran Services Division
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in human services, organizational administration, a related field, or the equivalent relevant experience required. Two years related human services experience required. Experience with homeless population, and/or veterans required. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience working within an SSVF or rapid rehousing program preferred. Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and databases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Supervisor oversees the assigned Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Team and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SSVF-Denver program. The Program Supervisor will oversee veteran advocacy, crisis intervention, support services, housing location, rent assistance, and coordination with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Ensures provision of high quality services for homeless veterans and veterans at risk of homelessness, and ensures on-going compliance with federal SSVF requirements and agency policy and procedure. Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and scheduling of staff, volunteers and interns.
SALARY: $39,374 annually ($18.93 per hour)
HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
