H2 Performance Consulting (H2), a high-growth, technology-enablement firm, is currently seeking an Executive Assistant/Protocol Analyst to support our government client, Marine Air Wing (MAW), Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Miramar, San Diego, CA. The Executive Assistant/Protocol Analyst will be responsible for formulating plans, developing solutions, coordinating executive level staff actions, executing policy and coordinating activities for a 16,000 member organization. This role will also be responsible for managing all protocol functions in support of MAW headquarters and approximately 54 subordinate commands.
Executive Assistant/Protocol Analyst responsibilities to include:
- Coordination of major staff actions; ensuring actions are consistent with overall command direction and within resource constraints – determining correctness and applicability of proposed actions.
- Planning for short-term and long-term operations for the Command Staff Group; ensuring all plans are based on commander’s guidance and policy, and ensuring that staff planning is completed in a timely manner.
- Extensive coordination with staffs of subordinate commander’s and external agencies and organizations.
- Facilitation of the flow of information from the Command suite to appropriate staff sections, and to higher, adjacent and subordinate commands.
Experience Required
- Minimum of (3) years of relevant administrative operations experience
- Proven experience working with senior-level staff members in an independent role, preferable within the Marine Corp environment.
- Proven experience working within a demanding, multi-tasking environment bearing responsibility for coordination and communication of plans, action items and organization of multiple staff members.
- Extensively familiarity with USMC event/ceremonial protocols.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Software
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required at time of application and for consideration.
