What you’ll be doing…
- Responsible for all activities associated with crib operations including the open point-of-use cribs (OPOU), satellite cribs (SRC) and vending machines operations in the facility
- Report all transaction failures to Mgmt and create a ticket in the system
- Maintain Bar Code labeling on all parts – Print out labels
- Work with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies (w/t internal Mgmt)
- Issue material to the customer users and fill orders accurately and efficiently with world class customer service
- Create requisitions and confers with requisitioners and Xeeva to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule as appropriate.
- Assist customer user needs with various requests and needs aligned with the site scope of work as directed by Shift Lead or management
- Ensure all stocking and disbursements are recorded accurately
- Maintain positive professional relationships with key plant personnel
- Support inventory loss investigation as requested
- Act as back up to the Shift Lead when applicable
Top characteristics, traits, and experiences associated with success in this role…:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of operations, industrial and/or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of MS office, general office equipment, bar codes scanner and printers
- Maximo, Cribmaster or SIM experience preferred, not required
- Knowledge/ understanding of computer systems/MRO/purchasing systems
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good mathematical skills
- Physical demands: This position will require walking, lifting, standing for a significant portion of the work hours. This position may also occasionally require: bending, squatting, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), fine fingering, grasping, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
