Del Paso Country Club is one of the longest standing and recognized private clubs in California celebrating its centennial in 2016. The Club completed a multi-million dollar golf course renovation in July, 2006. In 2015, the Club welcomed its fifth USGA Championship by hosting the 2015 U. S. Senior Open. The property is a robust and active environment with many opportunities.
The Club is seeking a Security Supervisor position. Candidate shall have the ability to exercise good judgment and possess strong risk assessment skills. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and an impressive ability to communicate with other team members.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for overseeing the security operations of the club and security guard staff (4 guards).
- Effectively train and monitor performance of the guard staff to meet the standards of security while maintaining the member experience and club environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to manage the Club’s security video camera system and remote phone system.
- Possess basic computer skills with knowledge of excel, word and/or other Windows based programs.
- Ability to insure control of the front entrance for vehicles, vendors and pedestrians.
- Responsible for parking lot management on busy days.
- Ability to sufficiently secure golf course grounds and buildings at end of day.
- Ability to receive calls from security or fire alarm companies and make good sound decisions for response.
- Ability to prepare reports and records.
- Observe and report suspicious activities and persons.
- Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance.
- Work a variety of shifts that may include days, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and workplace.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation based on experience. Del Paso Country Club does offer quality health insurance options, 401K benefits, meals and golf privileges. Employees are entitled to vacation and sick day benefits.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as security guard or similar profession.
Must be 18 years of age and a U.S. citizen.
Must have a high school diploma/GED.
Experience and guard card required.
Must be able to pass a criminal and financial background check.
