The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing new product development program plans and works with cross-functional teams to deliver commercialized products. This position requires planning, executing, and monitoring the activities through the product development life cycle and collaborates with the various project managers that feed into the program. The Program Manager coordinates the activities of the sub-projects to meet the overall program goals, within the committed schedule and within the given program/product cost constraints.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Responsible integrating program activities from inception to launch
• Develops program plans and communicates objectives and schedules to the program team.
• Integrates activities across department boundaries in a matrix organization to ensure the program meets objectives, schedule and costs constraints.
• Establishes clear deliverables in a phase gate process.
• Regularly communicates the program status to stakeholders.
• Assess and address program risks and conflicts while managing program constraints.
• Monitors progress with key performance indicators and provides feed back into the program with phase reviews.
• Ensures utilizing company standards and procedures.
• May engage with external customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher; Technical degree preferred
• Program management experience desired.
• Project management certification a plus
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
• 5 years of experience in new product development project management with demonstrated success in launching new products desired.
• Semiconductor equipment experience a plus
