We are looking for a Student Pastor who has a desire to partner with the current staff of Connection Church to reach 10,000 people in 10 years and lead 6th-12th grade students in becoming sold out followers of Jesus Christ. This person should be organized, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and views this position as a long-term commitment to Connection Church as a home to fulfill their calling to reach students in our area. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week, position where 2-3 years of experience working with 6th-12th grade students is highly valued.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Facilitate the planning and execution of youth (212) services with the 212 worship team, interns, leaders, and Connectors, planning and preaching of series and messages, coordinating guest speakers (if necessary or applicable), and working with Creative Team for all creative elements (graphics, web, video).
2.Train and equip 212 Leaders and meet with potential new leaders.
3.Plan and execute special events.
4.Execute weekly duties (video and audio podcasts, attendance tracking, social media, update website, print announcement cards/promo materials, etc.)
5.Communicate with Parents bi-weekly via email about upcoming series and events.
6.Attend and/or coordinate 212 leaders to attend sports games, recitals, and lunches to interact, get to know, and build relationships with students and their peers.
7.Monitor budget for all purchases related to 212.
8.Monitor the cultures of evangelism, community, generosity, and serving throughout 212. Create ways to advance these cultures as needed.

a. Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
b. Financially support the works of ministries of Connection Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income
c. Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Connection Church employees, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
d. Be a Member of Connection Church.
