DFK America Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of DFK s.r.o., manufacturer of hard cab enclosures for forklifts, small equipment and UTV side-by-sides is looking for an experienced and highly ethical Sales Manager for our Dealer Direct Powersports business segment. In this new position, the successful candidate will assume the role of frontline contact to the Dealer Direct customers on behalf of DFK America. Powersports Sales experience is required at the OE, Aftermarket or Dealer level. As the North America division of DFK has been open for just over 3 years, this opportunity comes with plenty of upward potential for the right person.
Based in Downers Grove, IL, the Sales Manager will report directly to the VP/General Manager of DFK America.
The main role of the successful candidate will be to grow Volume, Revenue and Margin in North America, through the development of existing Dealers and the establishment of new Dealer Direct accounts. Position will require extensive travel at times, mostly in a vehicle towing a trailer.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identification of key growth markets not currently being serviced while maintaining relations and developing growth within existing Dealer Accounts.
Identification of key existing and new product growth strategies
Evaluates the effectiveness of sales and marketing activity and adjusts to achieve maximum success.
Development and maintenance of sales aids.
Monitors media and social networks for information relative to the DFK sales cause.
Coordinates all facets of customer orders and follows through with the Dealer after the sale.
Participation as a Team Player in all aspects of the operations and maintenance of the company and its facilities.
Entrepreneurial spirit to be able to work for a company in its early stages of development.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred. Some college and relative Powersports experience acceptable.
Working knowledge of pricing and sales margins
2+ years of successful experience in the Powersports industry
PC fluent with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and working ability with a CRM/Contact Management software
Must have a strong ability to develop trust and rapport with external and internal customers
High level of integrity
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
