Some of the responsibilities & requirements of the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher include:
Responsibilities
- Performs administrative support including: invoicing, payroll, opening and closing work orders, warranty support, processing orders, and equipment registrations
- Provide product phone support to customers on service related issues
- Acts as a liaison between sales, service, and parts department
- Coordinates with Service Manager for scheduling fulfilling day to day operations
- Frequently interacts with the customer to explain quotes and any changes within the quote prior to services being performed to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist technicians by working with manufacturers for diagnostic and parts related inquires
- Monitors and schedules equipment pick-up and delivery upon completion
- Assist other departments as needed
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in a service or heavy equipment field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be organized, ability to multi-task, and function well in a fast paced environment
- MS Office experience
- Well versed on hydraulic operation and mechanically inclined a plus
