Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for all aspects of managing and administering the organizations tools and deliveries with priority on meeting organization and project needs in the most cost effective manner. Responsibilities include all activities related to the tools and warehouse administration related functions for the organization including:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain the warehouse in a neat, organized and professional manner at all times.
• Coordinate with purchasing and field to utilize excess material in lieu of purchasing whenever possible.
• Coordinate and execute deliveries to ensure proper and timely delivery to projects as early in work day as possible.
• Track location of all company owned tools at all times. Maintain and utilize tool tracking software.
• Manage, in a cost effective way, the repair and or replacement of tools.
• Ensure warehouse is maintained to ensure a safe work environment.
• Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as established.
• Assume additional responsibilities as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School or GED diploma.
• Successful warehouse administration or similar experience. Successful military related experience desirable.
• Previous experience operating forklift and various types of trucks is preferred.
• Must meet the criteria to obtain and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and forklift operator certification.
• Working knowledge of electrical contracting terms desirable.
• Familiarity with local area is highly desirable.
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Comfortable working with computer based programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
