Performs diagnostic reviews of equipment and machinery, both in-house and at customer location, to ascertain the nature of any problem. Identify the cause of the issue or malfunction and perform corrective process to make the machine operable once again. Demonstrate new products and explain the benefits to customers when on site or in the office.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Read product literature including operations and repair manuals along with detail schematic drawings to attain repair or product selling knowledge.
Repair machinery at the in-house facility or performs this function on customer site.
Drive company vehicle, with parts inventory to customer location. From the stock of parts within the vehicle, complete the service repair to the particular piece of equipment.
Demonstrate for the customer different products that will meet the desired outcome for the customer. Answer specific technical questions regarding the equipment.
Provide training for the client and whoever else they define for the purchased equipment.
Deliver new equipment or pick up for repair equipment for a customer.
Research issues or problems through vendor resources to ascertain the cause of an issue and the subsequent correction for the problem.
Maintains knowledge of new trends and equipment in the industry so as to educate the customer base.
Provide assistance as needed for walk-in customers.

B. Education, Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations
High school graduate or GED. Repair certifications preferred.
C. Experience
Must have at least 1-3 years’ equipment technician/ repair experience. Experience with and understanding general mechanical processes.
D. Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, technical manuals, repair schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, contract documents, and procedure manuals and convey this information to others. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos. Ability to write instructions and memos.
E. Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists using independent judgment and discretion. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be able to understand and apply all instructions.
