Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is a developer and manufacturer of advanced heat pipes, pumped liquid and two-phase loops, and thermal storage devices. We specialize in technology development and custom thermal product design and manufacturing. We work to solve some of the most challenging thermal problems in the aerospace, military, industrial equipment, HVAC, and government R&D markets.
We are seeking a motivated professional Sales Engineer with proven success in sales and sales management to work within ACT's HVAC-Energy Recovery Product Group. This group sells primarily through a network of national and international HVAC oriented sales representatives. The candidate must possess strong presentation and communication skills and must interact effectively with ACT's technicians, engineering, and production managers.
This position reports to the Manager, Strategic Products Development Group. Extensive travel (>50%) will be required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals established through a strategic planning process
• Developing relationships with sales representatives, new customers, and maintaining existing customer base
• Channel development responsibilities include: direct sales, representative product
training, rep forecasting, rep joint sales calls, MAPS (mutual action plans) evaluating and reporting on individual representative company performance
• Assist in the identification and signing of sales representatives
• Coordinate and present to engineering firms and professional industry associations
• Maintain and report through the companies' Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) system to track and follow-up on quotes and proposals, leads, prospects and inquiries from a variety of sources
• Prepare quotes/proposals according to customer requirements
• Develop target customer and engineering lists via a comprehensive sales plan
• Attend and support tradeshows national and internationally
• Assist in conducting market surveys and analysis
• Assist in conducting statistical analysis on opportunities/quotes
• Lead and coordinate customer services
• Travel nationally with some international travel
Minimum requirements include:
(1) Degree in Business or Engineering. Prior Experience in HVAC Equipment/Technical Sales (required) and marketing experience (a plus)
(2) At least two years of direct HVAC equipment/technical sales experience
(3) Proven track record of sales success
(4) Excellent Verbal and Written skills
(5) Excellent Organizational Skills
(6) Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point etc
(7) Ability to lift 50lbs
