The successful candidate is one who will be comfortable working in a small team environment. Candidates with military, law enforcement or other experience with our product lines will be given preferred consideration. NetSuite experience is a plus.
About the Company:
CMC Government Supply is a distributor for a wide variety of specialized products. Most of our products are used for military, intelligence, homeland security, law enforcement, public safety and general government applications. CMC is a small business supplier to all federal, state and local governments and commercial businesses and individuals. CMC is a licensed firearm dealer.
Position Purpose:
Increase sales and customer satisfaction by assisting customers and following up by phone, email and online.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Process online and offline orders into NetSuite
- Answer incoming customer telephone calls, emails and online inquiries
- Evaluate and resolve customer service requests
- Respond to customer shipment and inventory inquiries
- Enhance customer’s experience with online store by maintaining and improving product descriptions and content.
- Assist with government bids, including writing responses and collection of required bid response documentation, as well as following up on status of existing bids
- Voucher payables
- Support used firearm sales effort
- Help maintain social media, as needed
- Provide the team information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales and customer data and trends
- Enhance the company’s reputation through innovation and identifying opportunities to add value
Pay Range: $24,000 - $32,000/yr, depending on experience
