MURA Project Manager
The City of Medford is now hiring for a Project Manager for the Medford Urban Renewal Agency (MURA)
Full-time position - excellent compensation & benefit package included!
The MURA Project Manager supervises and coordinates the implementation of MURA capital improvement projects, and other projects as assigned. This position supervises staff, contractors, consultants, and provides a wide range of professional assistance and management, including planning, monitoring, and implementation of various projects.
This schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8 hours/day. However, there may be occasional evening meetings where attendance is required.
- Graduation from high school or GED.
- Five (5) years of project management experience or increasingly responsible construction management and leadership experience; or
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a related field; and/or equivalent combination of college level education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
- Requires possession of a valid driver’s license by date of hire. New employees establishing resident status in the State of Oregon must obtain an Oregon driver’s license within 30 days (ORS 807.020 (1)).
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Demonstrated completion of projects including initiation, planning, launch, and performance monitoring.
- Experience with projects ranging from building construction, remodeling of facilities, infrastructure, real estate purchases, seismic retrofit, and building sprinklers.
