We are a growing safety foam fabrication company in Garden Grove. We are seeking a Production Lead/Supervisor to join our team! You will oversee a team of 3-5 production workers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
• Delegate production assignments to appropriate personnel
• Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Work with the production team to ensure a safe and clean working environment at all times.

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic manufacturing instructions
• Knowledge of production tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2-3 Years of Related Experience

Physical Demands:

• Stand for long periods at a time
• Moving parts, machine noise
• Able to walk/stand for hours at a time
• Lift/Move/Position: 25 pounds occasionally; 10 pounds routinely
• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth differentiation.
• Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation.
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process.

It is important to note that this is not a "desk" job. We need someone who can learn every aspect of the production job and can participate wherever needed. Production employees utilize wires and saws along with basic cutting tools. Safety is very important and he/she will need to make sure everyone is adhering to the safety standards at all times.

Regular schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Compensation will be based on experience. ($18-$25 DOE)
