riskmethods is looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to join our North America team. As the Technical Consultant, you’ll work with the Sales team to convert prospects into happy customers, and shape processes within our Sales organization.

While this role may be fully remote, due to close collaboration required with the European teams, candidates who are in the EST time zone are preferred.

What you will do:

• Be the lead point of contact for our internal Solution Consultants regarding technical integration into existing customer IT-landscapes.
• Be responsible for SSO and API-integrations with our customers.
• Gain deep technical understanding of our products, our API and IT-infrastructure.
• Participate in the creation of hosting and security architecture documentation.
• Be customer facing for security and architecture questions relating to sales and RFPs.
• Partner and work on cross-divisional teams, with a deep technical focus, acting as an interface between sales, security and IT.
• Build up a knowledge database of general RFP answers and drive standards.

About you:

• Experience in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Experience doing client-facing technical consulting in the Software Industry.
• An understanding of the architecture of distributed web technologies and are familiar with security for SaaS application.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate complex, technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
• A detailed and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to travel internationally on occasion.
