Turbopower LLC (“Turbopower” or “Company”) is a rapidly growing provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for gas turbine engines, auxiliary power units and component parts to military and commercial customers worldwide. The Company holds numerous quality and customer certifications, including FAA Part 145 repair station and Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Center certification. Turbopower operates out of a state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot facility with on-site engine test cells. Turbopower is an affiliate of Battle Investment Group, LLC and is based in Opa-Locka, FL.

Primary Responsibilities:

 

• Set up, adjust, and operate Machine Shop equipment as Milling Machines, Engine Lathes, Tool-Post, Surface, Universal and O.D Grinders and the various tools and measuring instruments required to perform precision Machining/Grinding operations.
• Performs and verify visual and dimensional inspection using manufacturer, company or customer supplied drawings and Manuals.
• Read and interpret manufacture, engineering instructions, blueprints, and manuals.
• Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
• Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes and safety implementations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years working as a Manual Machinist.
• Proper use and knowledge of Machine Shop tools and measuring equipment.
• Personal Toolbox with basic Machinist tools.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English, have basic computer skills.
• Available to work daily overtime and Saturdays.

A Plus:

• Machinist trade school certification.
• MRO experience working at a Part 145 repair station.
• Experience with Rolls Royce T56/501 engines and or similar engines.
• CNC Programing, Set-Up & Operation.
• A and/or P certification.

 

Basic Schedule:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional daily overtime and Saturday if required.
