At C2 Essentials we’re seeking a qualified business development specialist capable of working remotely to extend our corporate market reach as an outsourced full-service HR and Human Capital provider through relationships and untapped business opportunities. Our ideal candidate will complete our virtual training program, dive right in, take the lead, and help build our ever-growing portfolio. Highly skilled at sales and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.
Objectives of this Role
• Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
• Develop proposals and presentations of new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
• Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline in accordance with targets and close business
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies and tasks that achieve strategic goalsDaily and Monthly Responsibilities
• Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers
• Meet regularly with internal team to discuss strategy
• Perform cold calls to identify and generate new leads, contact decision-makers, set up prospect and customer appointments
• Deliver presentations to prospective clients, over the phone, through virtual conferencing, or in-person
• Present C2’s value-add through presentations to better position ourselves to win business
• Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals and close business
• Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
• Set goals, meet/exceed quota, track performance, and report metricsSkills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or management preferred
• Successful track record in B2B sales, negotiating, closing business and exceeding quotas
• Prior experience performing cold calls in pursuit of new business
• Possess keen business sense and a desire to find value add, solve problems, and overcome objections
• Experience in HR systems, Human Capital Management Solutions or Professional Services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
