Great Opportunity for CNC Machinist with local Contract Manufacturer in West Broward. We are looking for a CNC Machinist for a small Department, the candidate should be able to set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines as well as manual milling and turning machines, programming is a plus.
• The ideal candidate should be able to write/edit programs using Mastercam and Mazatrol conversational software.
• The candidate should be able to locate and gather the material, cutting tools and fixtures required to complete the work handed to him by the production manager.
• The candidate should be able to set up jobs and perform first article inspections on all parts.
• The candidate must be willing and able to perform routine maintenance of shop equipment.
• The candidate should be able to design and manufacture various work holding fixtures and inspection gauges as necessary.
• The candidate must be comfortable working in an ISO 9001 environment and be comfortable working with complex parts in various materials.
• Perform basic part measurement utilizing standard measuring tools (Micrometers, Calipers, Gauge pins, Height Gauges, etc.) to insure the quality of the parts that have been produced.
• The candidate will be responsible for keeping his work area clean and organized.
• Additional duties as assigned
