Missouri Military Academy (MMA) is seeking a high energy leader and role model for a Company Leadership Advisor (CLA) position. This position is for the evening shift, typically 3:30p.m. – 11:30 p.m. with weekend duty. Responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of the corps of cadets to include: responsibilities for assigned company and associated barracks, addressing cadet life issues (safety, security, health and welfare), leadership development and advising cadet leaders, counseling and mentoring cadets, physical readiness, discipline, and cadet accountability. The Company Leadership Advisor plays a key role in implementing the military educational model that is based on structure, self-discipline, and accountability. The CLA supports and encourages a positive learning environment characterized by high expectations, mutual respect, goal setting, and esprit de corps.

The Company Leadership Advisor implements the plan of the day, establishes strong partnerships with parents, and coordinates with other Company Leadership Advisors. CLA’s work directly with cadets, emphasizing academic achievement, physical fitness, and character and social development. The ideal candidate must possess excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills and be able to work directly with parents, staff, faculty, and cadets in a professional manner with a sense of urgency and purpose.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, impeccable integrity, exemplary physical fitness and military bearing, mature judgement, patience, multitasking, and a passion to work with young men. Candidates must have prior Active Duty, National Guard, or Reserve military or equivalent experience in education, law enforcement, or management; associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

The salary range for this position is $18-$22 per hour based on education, experience, and job skills related to the qualification requirements; some overtime may be required.
