Wichita Volunteer Coordinator
You have a talent for mobilizing volunteers and fostering sustained enthusiasm for a shared goal. You’re eager to support the recovery movement in Wichita by maintaining and growing this high-impact chapter. Wichita is our third largest market in the country, and you’ll be stewarding 100+ volunteers. You’ll also be reaching new goals quarterly and reporting nationally on local volunteer impact. This position will focus on gathering, coordinating and supporting volunteers to lead activities such as CrossFit, yoga, kickboxing, art nights, book clubs, and socials. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating and upholding expectations with a large pool of volunteers in a supportive manner. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and expand a strong, community-based volunteer program in Wichita including recruiting, training, and retaining existing volunteers
- Utilize various technology platforms such as Salesforce platforms to run reports, identify trends, and report out to the team
- Monitor and carry out quality assurance processes
- Assist in keeping Wabash St. facility clean, presentable and welcoming
- Organize and/or lead volunteer trainings
- Coordinate contractors and interns who may work in partnership or in tandem with volunteers
- In partnership with Wichita Team, monitor and contribute to social media and Phoenix App presence
- Work evenings (likely 1-2x/week) and weekends (likely 1-2x/month)
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience or exposure to volunteer-led programming, volunteer coordinating, or other related fields
- Strong communication skills including ability to tactfully give and receive open and honest feedback
- Organizational and time management skills, as well as adaptability and flexibility
- Comfortable with assessing talent and having coaching conversations where needed
- Experience in building and deepening community engagement as well as finding, recruiting, and training others
- A self-starter mindset, humility, and integrity
- Proficiency with technology
- Reliable transportation for commuting around the Wichita area
PREFERENCES

SALARY AND BENEFITS
- $50,000 - $55,400 annually
